Bartley Wedding – The National Press Club, Washington, D.C

Leah and Andy were married this past August. (Yes I am behind on the blog!)  The day began at the JW Marriot in a bridal suite overlooking the Capitol in D.C, and was filled with charming moments.  For example, I was taking pictures of the gorgeous and anxious bride by the window.   Her nerves were instantly tamed when she spotted her husband-to-be in the plaza below – ‘Oh my God that’s Andy!…Aww, I can’t wait!’.

The notably handsome couple chose an excellent mix between small town and big city celebration as they said their ‘I do’s at St. Paul’s in Kensington, Maryland, and celebrated their exchange of vows in the District. We shot fun and beautiful pictures by the plaza and park in DC, the railway tracks in Kensington, and on the walk to the reception.

The day came to a close at the prestigious National Press Club where the life of the reception was a phenomenal and funky jazz band that got everybody dancing – even Grand Ma! Cheers to Leah and Andy.
