I shot the wedding of Drew and TJ at The Marriott Ranch in Hume, VA. I love weddings at this venue! Its a beautiful old home set on rolling hills surrounded by majestic views. The pavilion style reception area has games set up on the lawn. Guests can enjoy volleyball, corn-hole, shuffleboard, or horseshoes. It’s a laid back, family friendly place that always makes for a great day. Drew and TJ shared their vows under a giant shade tree on the front lawn and then partied with their guests all day.
I shot the engagement photos for Jessica and Jamie at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna, VA. Meadowlark is one of my favorite spots for an engagement session because of a great variety of beautiful terrain.

I shot the engagement photos for Lissette and Jaye at the National Harbor. Since moving to Virginia eight years ago I have seen National Harbor grow into a great location for a day trip. It now has lots of shops, restaurants and fun attractions, including a ferris wheel. We spent a few hours exploring and came away with some fantastic photos.
I shot the engagement photos for Michelle and Erich at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna, VA. Meadowlark is a great spot for an engagement session and Michelle and Erich decided to bring their little guy on the shoot. He is a handsome baby and seemed to enjoy the day as much as mom and dad.
I shot the wedding of Carissa and Phillip at The Ritz Carlton in Georgetown. The weather did not cooperate as it was 125 degrees outside, but the staff at The Ritz could not be more accommodating. They allowed us to photograph anywhere inside the hotel. The building has a unique history as it was once a recycling plant. When designing the hotel they left intact much of the original brick factory walls, which make for some wonderful photographic locations. Carissa and Phillip enjoyed the day and were fortunate to have Phillip’s family and friends fly over from Germany. They brought with them a special drinking cup which had been handed down through the family for many years. Phillip was clearly moved as he received the gift. The couple will soon fly to Germany to celebrate with those who could not make the trip.
I shot the wedding of Kathleen and Steve at The Vineyards and Winery at Lost Creek in Leesburg, VA. This summer has been a little hot and this outdoor ceremony was no exception. However, everything went smoothly and the loving bond between these two was wonderful to see.
I shot the wedding of Nick and Michelle at Saint Peter and Paul’s in Potomac followed by a reception at the Sheraton Tyson’s. This was a very special and personal wedding for me as I have known Nick since he was a teenager. His parents are some of our dearest friends. I remember meeting Michelle for the first time and hoping Nick would “play his cards right.” She is a beautiful, sophisticated, smart, funny, and charming young lady. (Very much like Nick’s sister and Mom). I was honored that they allowed me to capture all the love, joy, shenanigans, and fun of the day. It was a spectacular event.
I shot the wedding of Jessica and Graydon at Rocklands Farm Winery and Market in Poolesville, MD. What can I say? Amazing couple! Amazing location! The farm was extremely picturesque and Jess and Graydon enjoyed every moment with family and friends. A wonderful event!
The Pruette sisters, Jessica and Jenny, were married to Joe Crawford and Kyle Armeny and I was lucky enough to photograph both events. Now they both have started families and I am again fortunate to photograph the clan together. We met at an old farm in Derwood, MD and with a lot of cajoling, convincing, and a little bribery we got some great images. I look forward to photographing these kids for years to come.
I shot an engagement session with Kathleen and Steven in Old Town Alexandria, VA. They had scouted a few locations to prep for the shoot which turned out to be a fantastic idea. I discovered some hidden gems!
